Tuesday

Morning Powwow:
Happy Tuesday, 3G Scholars!
  • How did it go yesterday?
  • Are you feeling more comfortable working at home?
  • Have you joined our new Newsela class on-line?
Below this post, you’ll find your art assignment, your March Madness assignment,  a special prayer to pray, a video, and your grammar Padlet.

Reading – (same as Monday ) Do a close read on Irish Immigrants — today is St. Patrick’s day. Be sure to highlight the main idea and supporting details. Look up words you don’t know (the link to Dictionary.com is on the right side of the blog), and annotate. After the close read, complete the graphic and questions.

Math: Parts of a set workbook page 149 (in your packet). Go to SeeSaw and complete one of the fraction assignments if you feel you need more practice before competing the workbook page.

Handwriting – bible verse

Spelling - Finish phonics worksheet, page 65.

Religion - Chapter 15. Read pages 200 & 201. Complete the activity on page 201. I’ll post what you need to highlight.

Grammar – In the Grammar Padlet, write three sentences using an article and an adjective.  HIGHLIGHT the adjectives and BOLD the articles. The tools will show up in your Padlet post when you highlight the word.

Don’t forgot to use correct punctuation and capitalization.  I’m seeing lots of run on sentences in our Padlet posts.

Science – Continued from Monday. Chapter 10 Matter and It’s Properties. Write vocabulary words on page 275. This assignment will be for Monday (3 words) Tuesday (3 words), and Wednesday (4 words).

Keep your Science vocabulary and all completed class work in your Take Home folder.
Don’t forget to check in at 10am.
