Singular Possessive Nouns



Possession shows ownership (belonging to) 

To show that ONE person, place or thing owns something, use a singular possessive noun. 

Add an apostrophe ( ‘ )  and the letter s at the end of the noun to make it possessive. 

Example:
The boy owns a dog.
The boy’s dog

Writing a Bibliography


The due date for the report and project is NOT December 1. The due date for both is Tuesday, Dec. 12th. We will begin working on the project at the end of the week and the report next week.
