Singular Possessive Nouns

Possession shows ownership (belonging to)

To show that ONE person, place or thing owns something, use a singular possessive noun.

Add an apostrophe ( ‘ )  and the letter s at the end of the noun to make it possessive.

Example:
The boy owns a dog.
The boy’s dog
