Our adopted garden

Since the rains have let up, we planted some new plants in the garden we adopted at the front of the school. If you would like to bring a plant to add, please do so. We have plenty of room.

We also took the time to look at the roots, talk about hydroponics, and look at bugs.

We didn't get to walk to Ave Maria with our PDO reading buddies because of the rain; however, they surprised with a treat!

The last day for October RQ is Thursday, Oct. 30. All RQ grades are current. If you failed your RQ quiz, you still have time to re-read your story or read another book.

Reminders

This week is a busy week, so here are some reminders:

1.  On Tuesday, you can dress up as your favorite literary character.
2.  STREAM Night is Tuesday night in the school gym from 6pm - 8pm. You can dress up as your favorite literary character again.
3.  Wednesday is the Hall of Saints from 8:15am to 9:15am in the school gym. All are invited.
4.  On Wed., we also have tricking-or-treating at Ave Maria with our reading buddies.
5.  Thursday is the Hall of Saints from 9:15am to 10:15am in the school gym. All are invited.
6.  Thursday is our Halloween party at 10:30am.
7.  Thursday is a half day.
8.  No school on Friday. Friday is All Saints Day.
