Artemis update: The next targeted attempt is September 2nd at 11:38am CST.
Launch Attempt Scrubbed
The launch director halted today’s Artemis I launch attempt at approximately 8:34 a.m. EDT. The Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft remain in a safe and stable configuration. Launch controllers were continuing to evaluate why a bleed test to get the RS-25 engines on the bottom of the core stage to the proper temperature range for liftoff was not successful, and ran out of time in the two-hour launch window. Engineers are continuing to gather additional data.
Tentative test schedule
Tuesday - Spelling pre-test (Words are in your Language Arts (LA) spiral and on the blog -- Focus Wall.)
Wednesday - Spelling and Reading test (Anchor text listed on the Focus Wall). The Reading test include the vocabulary that is at the beginning of the story (the same words list on the Focus Wall).
Thursday - Religion test, Chapter 1
Friday - Grammar test, simple sentences (You have notes in your LA spiral, on the blog, and in your textbook after the story, pg. 42 & 43)
