Marvelous Monday!

Morning Powwow:
Are you excited about using Hangout?
If you haven’t checked in with me on Hangouts, let’s do it today.

IXL: Your weekly IXL is due today. Most of you have completed it, but if you haven’t, I’ll give you until the end of the day. Remember, it’s a grade. After today, you will not have weekly IXL while we’re remote learning; however, I will be using IXL as class work (practice) and for graded assignments.

Reading – Read a Newsela article and take the quiz. You may choose any article you'd like. This will count as a grade and is due today.

March Madness: Your assignment is due today (the paragraph).  Put it in your Take Home folder when you’ve completed it.

Life students - continue to work in your packet. Let me know when it's complete. Mrs. Thomas has more work for you that I will send you later this week. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Thomas at Judy.thomas@sascolts.org.

Math: Adding Fractions. Math book pages 400 & 401. Read the examples and explanation. Next watch the video lesson by clicking on the link below. Complete 3 – 9, 11 & 13 on page 401. I'll post the answers later today. Examples are posted on the blog.

Science – Finish Lesson 1, continued. Read pages 282 - 283. Complete the Lesson 1: Physical State of Matter activity in SeeSaw.  This will count as a grade and is due today.

Grammar – We will have a test over adjectives and articles tomorrow, so study your notes. If you have any questions, let’s schedule a time for a Hangout.

Handwriting –  Start your next bible verse. It will be due on Friday.

Spelling – Continue to practice your words. There will be a spelling test on Thursday.
