Thursday: March 19

Happy Thursday!

Morning Powwow:
Are you starting to get more comfortable with remote learning?
Have you figured out a daily schedule?
Miss you and can’t wait to see you in Hangouts!

Reading – (skill: inference). Hannah’s Promise and Long-Distance Show-and-Tell. Read both passages and answer the questions.  You will have today and tomorrow to work on this.

Arctic Freeze: If you have finished the book, please log in to RQ and take the quiz. Try to finish your packet by tomorrow and take the RQ quiz. This assignment must be completed by Friday.

Math: Watch the Mixed Numbers video from Khan Academy. If you still need more help, email me using your new student email account. I’ll post the answers to yesterday’s work before our 10am check-in.

Next, go to SeeSaw or BrainPOP! and complete one of the fraction assignments. If you feel like you're ready, complete workbook page 149. If not, you can keep practicing, and complete it tomorrow.

Handwriting – bible verse. Due tomorrow.

Spelling – Continue to practice your words.

Religion - Chapter 15. Read pages 204 & 205. Complete the activities on page 205. I’ll post the highlights.

Grammar – Workbook page 81 & 82. Read the directions carefully. This is a graded assignment, so please work on it independently (without mom or dad helping).  After you complete it, put it in your Take Home folder.

Science – Lesson 1. Read pages 279-281. Complete the written assignment about pages 279 -281 in SeeSaw.   This is due by the end of the day.

Specials, Life, Sparks: Continue to work on these assignments. We are more flexible on due dates for this work. We’ll let you know when ahead of time when they are due.

NEW STUDENT EMAILS: I will be emailing you today, so please check your account. I will also copy your parents on this email. It’s just to check-in and make sure your account is set up. I’d also like to HANGOUT today, so you’ll have to have your email set up. More to come on Hangouts...
