I’m sorry I haven’t been with you the past few days, but I’m so glad Mrs. Odum is there to help you. 

Thank you for your emails and prayers. Hopefully I’ll be back with you by Tuesday. 

Reading - I noticed that some of you have not finished the close read. Please do so today, since this is a reading grade.  Do a close read on the Newsela article Phases of the Moon. Then take the quiz.

If you’ve finished, please have 20 minutes of quiet reading time. After you finish reading, write the main idea and and least two supporting details. Use text evidence. 

Math - We will be starting Order of Operations soon. Please watch this Khan Academy introductory video. We’ve talked about Order of Operations during morning Four Square, so hopefully this video will help remind you.

Hint: Multiply and divide BEFORE addition and subtraction.

Religion - 

Sunday is Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week. Watch the video from Catholic Kids Media about Palm Sunday and the Passion. Share with someone in your family (or a classmate in Hangouts) how you feel during this most Holy Week in our Catholic faith. 

Science - In your science packet, complete the handout Cause and Effect: How Ice Cream Melts? 

Grammar - Complete the grammar workbook page 85 —  I emailed it to you. You can print it or write the answers on notebook paper. Be sure to label the paper. 

Handwriting - Your handwriting is due today.

Spelling - Continue to study your words.
