Monday, May 18th

Happy last Monday of 3rd grade!

Pray the Our Father before you begin your day.

Who are you because of God’s grace and mercy?
Who should they see in you?
Who should they hear when you speak?
Who should they feel when you act?

Morning Powwow

Going forward, we will only have our 10am check-in on Hangouts. There also will not be as much work, but I hope to see your smiling faces everyday, even though these activities are not required.

Work packet: You will not have to turn in the work in this packets. It's for fun, but each day there will be two assignments from the packet. The cool part is that YOU get to choose what you do.

The rest of this week will be filled with fun activities and opportunities for you to share!

Student Choice
In your work packet, choose two work sheets to complete. On Hangouts, if you'd like, you can share your work or what you learned. If you do your work after the 10am session, you can share with us tomorrow.

Social Studies - World Travel
Let's go visit some exciting places around the world!

Follow this link to a page that has virtual trips to places (using Google Earth) like the Grand Canyon, The Great Barrier Reef, The Great Wall of China, Pompeii, and more.

You can share your visit with us on Hangouts, if you'd like. Have fun exploring the world!!

Math - Polygons
Watch the video on Polygons!
If you want to draw (or photograph) some polygon examples, you can post them in Hangouts.

Get Up and Move
Watch Lines and Angles on GoNoodle!
If you're daring, video yourself singing and dancing and then post it on Hangouts!

Science - National Geographic Explorer Classroom
There is a session today on Sea Turtles at 1pm.
As soon as I get the email with the link, I’ll post it on-line.
