Friday, May 8th

Happy Thursday, 3G!

Pray the Our Father before you begin your day.

Who are you because of God’s grace and mercy?
Who should they see in you?
Who should they hear when you speak?
Who should they feel when you act?

Morning Powwow

How is your RQ book coming along? Your quiz or book report is due next Friday.
Next week, I’ll be giving you more information on May Madness!

Reading - Leveled Readers
You have one more set of Leveled Readers (about animals) and a graphic organizer. You will have today, Monday, and Tuesday to read your story and complete the graphic organizer (write the main idea and give three supporting details (text evidence to support your main idea).

Letters — If you haven’t received your letter from me in the mail, please let me know. Write me back using correct letter format — and CURSIVE! Try your best! :)

Math - Congruent and Similar Shapes p. 312 and 313
I love this lesson and hate that we’re not together for it. In Hangouts I’ll review some congruent shapes. You will probably remember this lesson from one I did earlier this semester.
Watch my mini lesson, then on page 312, write the definitions for your two vocabulary words and draw an example.

Social Studies - Unit 4 Lesson 3: Farm Communities
Read pages 168 - 169. Next, complete the Handout in your SS packet (page 31). You may use your notes and textbook to help you. After you’ve finished it, put it in your Take Home folder.

Religion - Chapter 19 Love One Another
Read pages 256 - 257. Complete the activity on page 256. Highlights are posted on the blog.

Grammar - Conjunctions
Complete workbook page 97 only. Use the notes at the top of the page to help you.  Do NOT tear it out.

Handwriting -  Continue working on your bible verse. It’s due today.

Spelling - New spelling words on posted on the blog. Vowel sounds in tooth and cook.

Phonics - worksheet page 101. Due Tuesday.
