Our class joined Mrs. Miller's class for a fun activity. We are reviewing standard and non-standard units of measure,
along with estimating. We worked in teams to measure the hallways,
each other, the distance from the chapel to the church and more,
using banana leaves! Afterwards, we had group discussions to
compare the data we collected. Through dialogue, the students made connections to Social Studies and Science skills.
In our community of learners, we help each other learn like CHAMPIONS!! There is always another way to try and a friend to help. Believe in the power of YET! We CHALLENGE our minds to CHANGE our minds. And it is ok to be still and quiet.
