Saint Project: Due Friday, Nov. 4

Choose a saint or someone in the process of Beatification or Canonization (Servant of God, Venerable Servant of God, Blessed, or Saint) who died in the 20th century.

Write a booklet about that person. Use the booklet provided.

Cover page has the title and student’s name. There should be a picture on the cover that is either drawn by the student or printed from a website.

Page one is has important dates (timeline) about the person's life, including birth, death, works, etc. Include the canonization stage the person is in. (portrait or landscape is acceptable)

Page two has an illustration that shows the person doing God's work. This picture must be an original drawing by the student. No printed pictures. Colored must be used.

Page three is six to eight sentences about the person’s life and dedication to following Jesus, including why he/she is being canonized.

Once all the Servants of God, Venerable Servants of God, Blessed, or Saints have been chosen, we will do research together in the lab. Students will also learn how to cite their work, but the writing and illustration will be completed at home.

The Rubric has also been posted on the blog so that you know what is expected. I have gone over the entire project, including the canonization process, the rubric, and an example of a completed project.

Due Date: Friday, Nov. 4
