Commutative Property of Addition - changing the order of the addends doesn't change the sum.
Inverse operations - opposite operations. Addition "undoes" subtraction and subtraction "undoes" addition.
Finding the missing addend:
10 - _____ = 4
10 - 4 = 6
10 - 6 = 4
4 + 6 = 10
