Welcome to 3G!!!

Thursday,  August 8th  is the first day of school, with dismissal at 11:30am.  Students will not need a lunch, but they’ll need a small snack and a water bottle (no juice or soda, please). 

On the first day of school, you’re more than welcome to come help your child get settled. All the books and workbooks have been assigned and are waiting on his/her desk. However, after the first day of school, please make sure your child goes directly to the cafeteria at drop off. Do not come to the classroom. The teacher on morning duty will escort the class to the room at 7:50am. They will wait quietly outside of the classroom so that I can greet them each morning. 

Class begins promptly at 8am. Please do not be late or your child will miss classwork for the morning meeting. :)

In order to make our first day run smoothly, I’d like your child to come in with the following tasks completed: 

Sharpen all of your pencils! 

Please label spirals and folders with your child’s name and the following: 

Spirals/Composition books (any color):

   Reading/English/Spelling

   Math
   Science/Social Studies

Folders (any color):   (do not put notebook paper in the folders)
Take Home 
Class Work
