Mixing art and literacy is as much fun as mixing paint! PreK 3 students listened to the Mixed-Up Chameleon by Eric Carle, and then made their own mixed-up chameleons using shaving cream and two colors of paint. They learned that red + blue = purple; red + yellow = orange; blue + yellow = green!
In our community of learners, we help each other learn like CHAMPIONS!! There is always another way to try and a friend to help. Believe in the power of YET! We CHALLENGE our minds to CHANGE our minds. And it is ok to be still and quiet.
