The conference I attended this week was so informative and exciting! I learned about some new tools I can’t wait to share, have new ideas for lessons brewing, and picked up a new book. It’s actually for my daughters. I always bring them back a “happy” when I travel, but now that they’re teens, it’s not a toy or candy. Both love science, so this book is perfect. As I was reading it, I came across a quote by Marie Curie, and it sums up how I feel about your child...
‘Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something, and that this thing, at whatever cost, us be attained.”
In our community of learners, we help each other learn like CHAMPIONS!! There is always another way to try and a friend to help. Believe in the power of YET! We CHALLENGE our minds to CHANGE our minds. And it is ok to be still and quiet.
