I volunteer for Room in the Inn - St. Ann, which provides hot meals, clothes, and shelter to the homeless in Memphis during the winter months. St. Ann partners with other churches (all denominations) in our community on a rotating basis (St. Ann hosts every Tuesday evening/Wed. morning). Tomorrow is my day to bring in breakfast for the guests spending the night at the Ozanam Center. My sweet scholars were kind enough to help me put together 16 breakfast to-go bags for the guests.
Thank you, Brayden, Shannia, Brody, Paxton, Abby, Rylee, Drew, Justin, Alison, Sam, Jonah, John, Scott, Victoria, Luke,Marilee, Avery, Dominic, and Caroline for your service to the homeless. It’s the best Christmas gift you can give!
In our community of learners, we help each other learn like CHAMPIONS!! There is always another way to try and a friend to help. Believe in the power of YET! We CHALLENGE our minds to CHANGE our minds. And it is ok to be still and quiet.
