We're published authors!

The Most Amazing and Inspiring Athletes is here!  I'm very proud of all their hard work, from choosing the genre and topic to research, writing the first draft, editing, rewriting, and illustrating to their finished product!
They students brainstormed title names and voted on the one they liked best. They also each drew a cover and voted on their favorite. Congratulations to Addie Manning, whose illustration was chosen for the cover of the book. 
We had a reception and each student sat in the author's chair and read his/her passage to the class.
The students will also be donating a copy to the SAS library for anyone to check out so that everyone can learn more about world-class athletes in archery, BMX racing, bull riding, and more!
