We’re taking on a new challenge. After reading What Do Illustrators Do?, we were inspired to become author/illustrators!
We started researching and editing our book on the United States last week. Students have chosen topics from war to inventors, animals to asteroids! It should be a super interesting book.
Permission slips/order forms will be sent home today. You do not have to order a copy of the book, but I do need your permission to have your scholar’s work published. Please SIGN THE BOTTOM LINE (highlighted in yellow in the image below).
This is NOT a fundraiser. The school does not make money on this project. Ordering is optional.
If you choose to purchase a copy/copies, there are three types of books you can order: soft cover, standard hardcover, and deluxe hardcover. I have shown samples to the students — it’s a really nice book. This will be my fourth year doing this project and am very pleased with the quality.
