March Madness Round 2:  Character
(Everyone must write a summary about one character in the book. Only the winning books from round one will be presented on Friday. In addition to the summary, you may also create a video, poster, presentation, or bring in a costume to wear during the presentation. Have fun!

March RQ starts Monday!

Monday is also CRAZY SOCK day! You must still wear your uniform and uniform shoes.

March Madness - your first assignment is due on Friday. You have to write a summary of your book and complete the book report-in-a-bag -- please use the bag and index card that I provided.
If you make a video, it only has to be a couple of minutes. Have fun with this assignment!!

Get the permission slip for book project signed, even if you aren't purchasing a book.

Math - Fraction HO and IXL (Time) T.2, T.3, and T.5 (work for 5 minutes)*

*This IXL assignment doesn’t count toward your weekly IXL. This is only practice since we still have so many students who can’t tell time on an analog clock. Practice estimating time using half and quarter as well.

March Madness -- choose your novel. Make sure it is a novel that you've already read. If you have it at home, please bring it in. Information about March Madness is in your Take Home folder. Please share it with your parents. The first assignment* is due Friday, Feb. 28th.

***** All assignments for March Madness are to be completed at home. We are not working on this during class. Only the presentations will take place in class. Remember, it's a grade.

Blended Learning

We had blended learning sessions today in the library that included Religion (Lent and Passover), Science (National Geographic for Kids, ecosystems), Math (Splash Math and See Saw, division and fractions), and Grammar (review of all the parts of speech we’ve learned since August).
