We did it! We've just about made it through the first week of remote learning.
If you haven't answered my email, please do so today.
We'll try Hangouts again, but for now keep checking in daily through your student emails.
Reading – Finish yesterday’s assignment, if you haven’t.
Choose a NON-FICTION story from Epic or a short nonfiction picture book or article. If possible,
Facetime or Hangout with a friend or relative and read together for about 20 minutes. If you can’t,
read to someone in your family.
After reading it, discuss it. What did you like? What did you learn? What
was the main idea and supporting detail? (No written assignment)
Novel study: take the RQ quiz.
Put your completed novel study in
your Take Home folder.
March Madness: I’ve extended this assignment until Tuesday.

Home folder when you’ve completed it.
Math: Complete the BrainPOP! Mixed Numbers movie/quiz.
This
will count as a grade.
Handwriting – You should finish your bible verse today. Keep it in your workbook. Do NOT tear it out. If you already did, that's ok. Going forward, leave it your book.
Spelling – Continue to practice your words.
Religion – Read and complete the Chapter Review on p. 206. Also read
p. 207. There will NOT be a test over this chapter. Your grade will come from the completed chapter. DO NOT TEAR OUT THE CHAPTER. Please leave it in your book so that it doesn’t
get lost.
Art - finish your paragraph and picture. If you don't complete
it today, you can work on it Monday, but don't put off doing to much. More work
will be coming in soon.
Grammar – Watch a movie with your siblings, a parent, or grandparent.
As you watch, listen for adjectives. You don’t have to write them down, but
notice how they add detail to the story. (No written assignment)
For example, if there is a bad guy in your movie, what are the adjective
used to describe the villain?
Think about the setting. What adjectives would YOU use to describe it?
Science – Lesson 1, continued. Read pages 282 - 283. Complete the
Lesson 1: Physical State of Matter activity in SeeSaw.
