STREAM Acitivity
Why is snow white? Ask your 3rd grade scholar for the answer!
After our science lesson, we made colored snowflakes, and then tried to make them turn white. We used math (symmetry, measurement, and geometry) to make the snowflakes. Then we applied what we learned about ice and light by adding layers of wax paper pieces (ice) to make our snowflakes look white. More pictures are on Facebook.
It’s been a great morning
Since we couldn’t attend mass today, we prayed the rosary together. While praying, it started to snow, so we took a quick snow/mask break to enjoy it! There are more pictures on our Facebook page.
