Tomorrow is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, which is a holy day of obligation in the Catholic church. There will be a mass tonight and three masses tomorrow.

Before the Talkies
Before we had movies where the actors spoke, we had silent films. In our leveled reader today, we learned about two children whose great-grandpa was an actor in silent films. Since our Scholars had never heard of silent films, we watched this clip of Buster Keaton from "The Goat", and they love it.
