3rd grade STREAM
Third graders watched a video on the publishing process and are waiting anxiously for their books to arrive! While waiting, they’re learning about fitness and nutrition through My Plate. We will be collaborating with Mr. Cooper (Music) and Mrs. Angotti (PE) to create a workout routine so that we’re not only healthy eaters, but active ones, too.

Our Solar System
Second graders are continuing their work in the CAP program. They started learning about the planets in our solar system using virtual reality (VR) and a stargazing app that uses the cameras on their iPads. Next they will create a movie about their favorite planet using Clips.
Learning about camouflage
PreK-3 learned about camouflage. We read Spotted Yellow Frog by Matthew Van Fleet and made frogs puppets. Our youngest scholars discussed colors that we could choose to help the frogs be camouflaged in the grass. Next we went outside to see if our frogs could hide safely!
