PreK 4 Animals!!!

PreK 4 had a lively library class today. We read How to be a Cat by Nikki Mclure, and we learned how to be like a cat...stretch, pounce, explore, hunt, dream!
Then we learned how to be a tiger and an elephant with a student-lead demonstration. Finally, we did the Moose-ta-cha!

Evaporation

2nd graders are learning about evaporation. Today they made puddles of water and outlined them with chalk, then checked them at the end of the day to see if the water had evaporated. They also made predictions about the effects of sunlight, dry air, and humidity on the evaporation process.
