Our (possessive pronoun) Earth (proper noun)

We combined English and Science lessons today. We reviewed parts of speech as we read a passage about Earth's rotation. We sorted the words in the article according to its part of speech:  nouns, pronouns, adjectives, conjunctions, verbs, adverbs, prepositions, and articles.

Reading Comprehension?

Stories are everywhere, including in the music we hear and see. What story do you see? Does the music add to your understanding of the story? What inferences can you make? What conclusions can you draw?

Inference and Drawing Conclusions

Watch the video again with your family and see if they draw the same conclusions and make the same inferences that you did in class. Be sure to explain the difference (remember my examples when I left the classroom).
