Comprehension happens with more than just reading. You use it when you hear music, see dance, and so much more.

Do you know what the story is?

A look back at 3G 2016-2017!

Thank you all so much for a FABULOUS year!

3G Scholars:
Remember to keep exercising your brain and growing neurons.
Never stop trying; just because you don't know something now, just means you don't know it YET.
Most importantly, once you are my student, you will always be in my heart! Love you all.

Volcanoes in Action

In 3G we have been reading The Magic School Bus Voyage to the Volcano, which takes place in Hawaii, specifically at Kilauea.

It just so happens that Kilauea starting shooting lava and releasing high levels of sulfur gas yesterday. We have learned about this volcano, plumes of smoke, sulfur, and maps (in Social Studies), so we watched news coverage live from Hawaii today and were familiar with what was going on, including the lava flow type.
